Shandong Times New Energy Battery Industry Base officially starts construction

On December 25, CATL announced that the Shandong Times New Energy Battery Industry Base Project Promotion Meeting was held in Yanzhou District, Jining City. At the promotion meeting, the Shandong Times New Energy Battery Industry Base Project, the CATL 1.1GW Fishery-Photovoltaic Complementary National Large-scale Photovoltaic Power Generation Base Project, and the CATL Jining's first heavy-duty truck power swap station project started laying foundation stones at the same time.
The total investment in the Shandong Times New Energy Battery Industry Base project will not exceed RMB 14 billion. It will build power battery system and energy storage system production lines. The planned land area of the project is approximately 2,000 acres. At the same time, CATL will also work with Jining City to promote projects in battery manufacturing, concentrated photovoltaics, energy storage power stations, power exchange platforms, ship manufacturing and other sectors.
