To this end, the program team invited Asen, a designer who has a deep understanding of Tibetan culture, to conduct on-site inspections. It was during this process that many problems with the house were exposed: the house close to the mountain was damp and water seeping, and the open fire and ash for heating made the house less comfortable, not to mention the ceiling leaking air and rain, which seriously affected the living experience. Facing the current situation of the house where almost all the infrastructure needs to be redone, how can the designer achieve the overall renovation of the house in just 14 days? How will designer Asen transform a house that is both practical and distinctive while retaining the collector's unique style?

There were many problems before the transformation
Due to the relatively simple materials used in the construction process of the stone house, in addition to the main body of the stone masonry house, the railings and roof areas are all made of simple metal materials, which makes the appearance of the house very inconsistent. Moreover, the house is also because of the interior decoration. It is unreasonable and has serious water leakage and air leakage problems.
Designer Asen said that the focus of this renovation is firstly on house maintenance, and secondly on interior decoration. Due to regional reasons, the entire renovation had to face harsh renovation conditions such as high mountains and long distances, difficult transportation, and inconvenience for workers to go up and down the mountain. Sudden water shortages and power outages also put the construction team in trouble.

The original house had problems such as roof leakage, air leakage and light leakage, wall leakage and moisture reversion, no sound insulation, no thermal insulation, etc. There were safety hazards on the first and second floor terraces.
